Danish Cardiac Arrest Registry
In 2001, the Danish Cardiac Arrest Registry began collecting data on OCHA in Denmark. Data was initially registered manually but in 2016 an electronic form of registration was taken into use. Since 2021, the Danish Cardiac Arrest Registry has been part of The Danish Clinical Quality Program – National Clinical Registries (RKKP).
Denmark is among the best in the world in documenting the effects of prehospital efforts in cases of cardiac arrest. Denmark has documented outstanding results of high international quality in regards to early CPR, survival and AED use.
